Recycled Metal Mirror Gives New Life to Pop

At first glance, this colorful mirror looks like a mosaic of interesting tiles or stained glass. But on closer inspection, you'll start to notice a few familiar logos… until you realize you're looking at a mirror made of recycled soda cans.

Artists Mitch and Susie Levin created this striking Pop Art mirror using pieces of flattened recycled soda cans. The cans are hand-cut and then artfully arranged on a wooden frame. Neighbors donate cans for the recycled metal mirrors, which the artists sort and store by color until a new mirror is in the works.

The artist team is known for creating interesting art from recycled materials. Their vibrant, eclectic pieces include everything from recycled metal dog sculptures to mirror made with recycled house numbers. But nothing quite tops the Pop Art mirror for originality and execution.

I absolutely love this, thank you for sharing with us. I bookmarked this as a possibility for a mirror in the ongoing re-design of my home.
